We had the most exceptional stay at this lovely lodge. The hosts made us feel like part of their family, and yet we had the privacy and space we desired. The room was spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable. Each evening, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with a fire. The breakfast options were outstanding, and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Homestead Lodge & Cottages for a wonderful stay in Wanaka.

We stayed at the 2-bedroom cottage. It is a beautiful and well kept cottage. Very clean. Excellent for a family of 4. Location is excellent, just a stone throw away from the beautiful Lake Wanaka and a short drive away from town centre. I would recommend Wanaka Homestead to anyone looking for a great place to stay when they visit Wanaka.

We stayed in the lodge and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast served in the communal dining room was very good. There is coffee, tea and cookies available throughout the day. The town is a nice walk through the park and by the lake. We enjoyed our conversations with the managers, Carol and Ed, who were very hospitable.

We stayed in a large, comfortable King size room in the main house. The decor was lovely and the room was quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The house itself was beautifully furnished and had more facilities than we could use. The location was great, just a short walk from the lake and a pleasant 15-minute walk into town. Parking was convenient right outside the front door. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff at Wanaka Homestead was super friendly. The rooms were very clean and the lodge was beautiful. It looked brand new although it is several years old. The location was great with quick access to jogging trails and beautiful landscaping. The breakfast was very good.

Very impressed with the great view from our king room. With refrigerators, a washing machine, and glassware. Lovely design, excellent service in the entire hotel.

The cozy bedroom with a romantic atmosphere was perfect for our getaway. Karen, the manager, was friendly and provided great recommendations for dining, including a delicious meal at Kika. The location was peaceful yet convenient, and we enjoyed being a short walk from the famous Wanaka Tree. The communal breakfast was a lovely touch, allowing us to connect with other guests and enjoy Karen's delicious cooking.

Amazing amenities, magnificent and stunning setting.

Easy base for exploring Wanaka. The breakfast with homecooked treats. Brand-new, high quality room for the kids to run around, and affable staff. Location not far from gorgeous footpaths around the lakeshore, the lake and short drive/walk to town and Wanaka and the beach.

The restaurant was great for dinner here, I had distinguished dishes. All the staff were lovely and nice. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk away from That Wanaka Tree...

I absolutely loved staying at this place. The location was perfect, nestled in beautiful quiet gardens very near the lake. It was so peaceful and relaxing, away from all the hustle and bustle. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The boss Ed is very friendly and helpfu. The room is very clean n well maintained. We especially like the lounge ehich where we chill out there at 10pm with some soft music and our own wine! A totally relaxing n safe place to stay at!

The Wanaka Homestead Lodge & Cottages were well looked after and offered modern conveniences in a nostalgic setting. Loved the idea of having bathroom tiles heated. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Easy to find and close to everything.
